Krylon UV Archival Varnish contains Hindered Amine Light Stabilizer (HALS) and UV Absorber (UVA) for the maximum in UV protection. Varnish is removable with mineral spirits or isopropyl alcohol. For us on Fine Art - acrylic, watercolour, oil pastel, coloured pencil, oil, digital prints and more.
Coverage: 1.4-1.9 square metres (15-20 sqft).
Ideal conditions: Well ventilated area, 10-29 degrees Celsius (50-85 F). Low humidity; do not use in high humidity.
Directions: 1-Mask any areas that you do not want to spray. 2-Test spray in an inconspicuous area for compatibility. 3-Hold can 25-30cm (10-12") from surface. 4-Spray artwork in an upright position. Begin at closest edge and stroke left to right across the surface and beyond edge, overlapping each stroke slightly. 5- Apply very light coats for workable protection. 6- Once artwork is completed, several light coats will provide final fixative protection.
Dry Time: Dries in 10-15 minutes. Handle after 2 hours
Re-Coat: Anytime
After Use: After each use, clear valve by holding can upside down and spraying until only clear gas comes out. If spray button becomes clogged, wear eye protection, wipe off the button opening with lacquer thinner -- DO NOT stick pin in spray button opening. Remove over-spray from areas surrounding artwork with rubbing alcohol. Wash hands after using
